Description
This course is a cross-cutting and introductory course to political science. It covers fundamental concepts necessary for a good understanding of the discipline, including institutions and regimes, ideologies, elections and electoral systems, as well as administration and public policies. This course serves as an introduction to, and foundation for, various approaches and key subjects in political science.
Plan
Objectives
The course has three main objectives. Firstly, it aims to provide the necessary tools for understanding political science and politics through the learning of fundamental concepts. Secondly, it aims to lay the groundwork for the analysis of political objects to prepare students for further studies in this field. Finally, it aims to impart knowledge and stimulate students’ political curiosity to foster critical and reflective thinking.
